Ridgway, CO – The Town of Ridgway will host an open and collaborative roundtable discussion about the Ridgway Athletic Park on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Ridgway Town Hall, located at 201 N Railroad St.
The roundtable is designed as an opportunity to bring together park user groups, community partners, and stakeholders to share insights, learn from one another, and strengthen efforts to support and enhance the Athletic Park. The purpose of the roundtable will be for attendees to:
• Learn about the Ridgway Athletic Park Master Plan, the guide for the future development of the Athletic Park.
• Learn about current and future fundraising goals across park user groups.
• Share successes, challenges, and strategies for funding park facilities and amenities.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
• Explore ways to maximize impact and community engagement. Park user groups, recreation and sports organizations, community nonprofits and volunteers, and anyone interested in supporting park improvements are encouraged to attend this discussion.
Discussion topics may include:
• Capital campaigns and project funding
• Grants, sponsorships, and donor engagement
• Events and community-driven fundraising efforts
